Drake Creek Golf Club, established in 1999, was designed by renowned golf architect Rich Osborne and constructed by Holmes and Company, the same company that built English Turn in New Orleans, Pinehurst National, and Grand Cypress in Orlando among others.

Drake Creek is consistently maintained in an impeccable condition that is simply better than other area golf courses.  The 18-hole course features Zoysia fairways and tees, bent grass greens, over 20 acres of water and 38 sand bunkers.  There are four separate tees on each hole so the course can be as friendly or as challenging as you make it.

The Drake Creek golfing experience is enhanced by superb practice facilities, the area's finest golf shop, and a PGA professional staff that is courteous and knowledgeable.  Please visit Drake Creek Golf Club.  We think you'll see why its become the area's favorite golf destination.

Paxton Park Public Golf Course

Nice, gently rolling golf course with the ultimate in high quality greens--Champion ultradwarf bermuda. While Champion has only been on the market since 1996, it is rapidly becoming the buzz in bermuda circles and is even replacing bentgrass in the South on many courses that desire bentgrass quality putting surfaces and bermuda heat tolerance. The ball rolls true and fast on Champion, just like excellent bentgrass greens. Tee boxes are zoysia and bermuda. Fairways are bermudagrass.

Many large mature trees with several creeks winding through the course. Par is 71 and the course is very well maintained with a rich tradition and history.  A new fleet of carts were acquired in 2007 and GPS units were installed on each cart in order to enhance the players' experience at Paxton Park.  .
